ECU Fuel Mapping mainly based on the following sensors
- Throttle pedal sensor
- Crankshaft position sensor (CKP)
- Camshaft position sensor (CMP)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)
- Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF)
- Intake Air Temperature sensor (IAT)
The engine can either have a MAP or MAF sensor fitted into the intake manifold. A MAF sensor gives more accurate Fuel Mapping based on change in Air Mass and subsequent change in Manifold Pressure.
